This is happening regardless if i choose ASIO or WASAPI in MC20. What made me believe that i actually did something wrong is the following: When i switch to my dac as standard output device under windows i can still change the volume with the slider while playing music with MC20.

My specific complication is the very reason why I need JRiver. Use an Aune X1 Pro DAC, a great and well-designed DAC from a Chinese Company, and configure it for bitperfect sound under Windows 10 / LTSC / Server 2019. Standard output device under Windows is MC20 which is because of the newly added WDM if i am not mistaken. (To avoid the muting of the first second which the Mojo performs.) Overall it would be much quicker and easier to buy JRiver. Exclusive mode and priority are activated as it should be.
